Christmas wishcard for a painter

In last year of communication studies at university I had to do an internship. I decided to work at Bodéva, in Boirargues (south of France), a communication agency. They proposed me to work as graphist intern. During one month I created a lot of logos, wishcards (it was christmas period), stickers, restaurants menus, brochures, etc...

I created this wishcard for a painter :

Translation : "We send you our best wishes for 2017"

I decided to keep a link with the paint because the client is a painter. So I created a watercolor background and chose a brush font. The snowflakes are here to keep the christmas theme. I chose blue, pink and gold color because it was trendy at the time, and also because I didn't want to fall in the christmas cliché. I think the gold is a festive color and can be suited with different colors.
